Koi is the UAE’s first luxury car service, giving users a private journey from where they are to where they want to be. From its first-class vehicles to its well-trained chauffeurs, Koi offers passengers a comfortable and classy ride to their final destination in style and on time. The solution we were to design was to automate car requests, do a real-time car tracking and send requests to only the drivers closest to the user.
We under took the tedious yet fun task of turning this idea into a reality. From business model to UI and then development, we wove all the links and came up with KOI Ride. Passengers can select to ride in a Koi 18 car, a standard luxury car, or opt for the more elite Koi 32, giving users a more premium car to journey in. We also created an app for drivers for them to receive the trip requests and accept it. Each time a friend or family member uses users’ unique Koi code during their trip, both the referred and referee receive a special discount. The app also allows option to pay by cash once user reaches their destination.
